Stan Heacox is a licensed Landscape Architect with over 30 years of experience. He is a graduate of Cal-Poly Pomona and worked in Southern California for four years before moving to the Bay Area in 1981. He has had direct involvement in over $200 million of installed landscape development throughout the West Coast. With a broad range of site planning, landscape design, and construction review experience in the Bay Area and East Bay, Stan is well versed with the horticultural and landscape maintenance costs and requirements for these local zones. More recent projects have included extensive experience in implementing State, County, & Local Water Use Ordinances and Bay Friendly Basic Landscape Guidelines for the City of Pleasanton CA.
Mr. Heacox has been responsible for landscape site planning and development at the 750 acre Hacienda Business Park in Pleasanton from its inception and initial installation; and he continues to be a member of Hacienda's Design Review Committee. His firm prepared a complete revision of Hacienda's Design Guidelines for new development in the business park.
Stan Heacox and his firm are involved with and have the respect of many homeowner Boards, commercial developers, and public agencies, on both new and older projects, to assist with landscape rehabilitation and upgrade improvements. Some of these large projects include: Tiburon Hill Estates, Bahia de Rafael in San Rafael, Westlake Village Apartments in Daly City, and Oak Creek Apartments in Palo Alto; various streetscapes and public parks in the Cities of Merced, Pleasanton, Livermore, Concord, Danville, and Belvedere.
He was also responsible for the entire design development and landscape implementation at Marine World (now 6 Flags) in Vallejo during 1985-86. He continued to be brought in by the Park Directors to revise and assist with site planning and landscape as they added new facilities and attractions.
